Services

KS3 Support: Building skills and confidence in Maths

KS3 is a crucial stage where learners move from primary foundations to more advanced mathematical thinking. I help students strengthen core skills, fill any gaps, and develop confidence as the curriculum becomes more challenging. Through clear explanations, targeted practice, and supportive guidance, I ensure learners feel secure in their knowledge and ready to progress towards KS4. My approach focuses on building strong numeracy, problem‑solving ability, and a positive mindset towards maths.

KS4 Tuition: Preparing for GCSE and iGCSE Success

At KS4, students need a solid understanding of the full breadth of the curriculum as well as effective exam strategies. I support learners working towards GCSE or iGCSE Mathematics by breaking down complex topics, reinforcing key methods, and practising structured exam-style questions. Sessions focus on both knowledge and technique—helping students improve accuracy and confidence for their exams. Whether aiming for a strong pass or pushing towards top grades, tuition is tailored to each student’s goals.

Post‑16 Learners: Functional Skills, GCSE re‑sits, and Maths Equivalency

I also work with post‑16 students who are revisiting maths for further study, employment, or personal achievement. This includes learners taking Functional Skills Maths, re-taking GCSE, or adults preparing for maths equivalency exams. My teaching is supportive, patient, and flexible—designed to rebuild confidence and provide clear, accessible explanations. I help learners overcome previous challenges with maths and develop the practical skills they need to succeed in their qualifications.
